My girl Ri-Ri has been KILLING the game none the less! With her makeup line, Fenty x Puma drops and lingerie line she is just not stopping with the hustle! Which begs us heelistas to ask… what are Rihanna’s best outfits of all time? I mean, we all need a little inspiration here and there am I right? Who DOESN’T want to look like Rihanna? So let’s dive in and praise the queen for her top 5 outfits of all time.
Rihanna absolutely SHOOK the red carpet at the 2018 Met Gala where the theme was “heavenly bodies: fashion and the catholic imagination”. Studded with pearls and jewels from head to toe and rocking that insane headpiece, she easily won the night. Needless to say, even the Pope was shook after Rihanna came for his fashion (he might have been a little inspired too).
With the launch of her makeup brand Fenty Beauty, Rihanna STUNNED everyone in this dazzling yellow Oscar De La Renta top and ball-gown like skirt. Looking like an ethereal human being, every heelista out there was shaking in their boots and yellow became the go-to color for the season. Her look was inspired by one of her ultra-popular products the “trophy wife” highlighter that went viral just minutes after launching.
Rihanna is definitely NOT known for tame style and this outfit explains why! Even in this oversized, heavily patterned floor length coat, Rihanna screams edge to anyone she walks past in this get up. Rihanna’s outfit on this day was a turning point for overall street style and dared others to push it up a notch and to take fashion risks, without over-doing it, of course. After all, she isn’t called “badgirlriri” for no reason!
I have to make a statement here by saying yellow is definitely Rihanna’s color as she struts through her hometown of Barbados! This look by far is probably a heelista’s favorite with those ever so envious of those eye-popping Monolo Blahnik mules, Hellesey shirt dress and mini Jacquemus handle bag.
Love it or hate it, only Rihanna can pull off this nearly naked look. She STUNNED red-carpet goers at the CFDA awards in this completely sheer and ever so sparkly Adam Selman gown (in which each diamond was hand placed might I add, that takes WORK!) Props to you girl for that body confidence! We could all learn a little bit from her after that one.
We could all learn a thing or two from following Rihanna’s style throughout the years, considering no matter the decade, she is a fashion icon!
